Terms of service

  1. 1. The service

    SpadeReady writes, prints and posts letters to homeowners in your borough who have applied for planning permission for an extension or loft, under your firm’s brand. A first letter goes out after the application is published and a second if permission is granted.

  2. 2. Subscription and price

    The subscription is £149 a month at the launch price (list price £249 a month), billed monthly by card through Stripe. Your first month is free; the first payment is taken one month after you claim your borough. The launch price stays yours for as long as your subscription stays active.

  3. 3. No contract

    There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time from the link in any of our emails or by emailing hello@spadeready.co.uk, and you will not be billed again.

  4. 4. Exclusivity

    Only one firm can hold a borough at a time. A borough is held for you from the moment your card is accepted. While a checkout is in progress the borough is reserved for a few minutes. If you cancel, the borough is released to other firms at the end of the period you have paid for.

  5. 5. Approval before anything is sent

    No letter is printed or posted without your approval. Each week we send you the week’s letters and you approve them with one tap. Letters quote only the price bands you have given us. You are responsible for the accuracy of your brand details and price bands; we are responsible for the data-source line and opt-out footer, which cannot be removed.

  6. 6. Data

    Homeowner data comes from the public planning register and is handled as described in our privacy notice. You must not use addresses we share with you for anything other than responding to the letters, and you must pass any opt-out you receive to us the same day.

  7. 7. What we do not promise

    We cannot guarantee that any letter will lead to an enquiry or a job. Our liability to you is limited to the subscription fees you have paid in the previous three months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

  8. 8. Who you are dealing with

    SpadeReady is a trading name of [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED POSTAL ADDRESS]. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
